About finansound

I am Anton Esseling, a finance professional with many years of experience. Practical, trustworthy and result driven.

After initial meetings I will manage and take on the challenges. A thorough analysis as first step, followed by an agreed action plan. Finansound will provide the support in the way you prefer: within the company or remotely, as an advisor or as a leader, hands-on or coaching, in the background or side by side. Finansounds extensive experience is geared towards sound financials aiming to strengthen you and your team.

Parttime/interim financial leader

Finansound advises in this role the CEO, if requested, on financial policies and collaboration with stakeholders. Provide direction to the finance team and cash flows, enhance financial reporting & planning and optimize administrative processes. We can be boarding as long-term arrangement or serve as a bridge until a new finance professional is hired.

Specific F&C assignments

This could include tasks such as resolving financial issues, assisting with mergers and reorganizations, organizing and ordering the figures and information, designing and implementing a business information model or planning cycle, conducting investment analysis, enhancing profitability, leveraging grants and tax facilities and strengthening the connection between the finance team and the other colleagues.

Start-up and scale-up:

Finansound will take care of the sustainable setup of the F&C department in the broadest sense, including the selection and implementation of systems, treasury and reporting. I can either do personally or achieve it by recruiting and training the finance team. Robust administrative structure forms the basis for steering information and reporting.

My contribution to SME’s, subsidiaries of multinationals, start-ups, scale-ups, healthcare providers and municipalities.

My experience primarily lies within organizations up to 200 employees. I have worked as finance director and business controller for international companies, mostly high-tech companies in the Healthcare and Pharma sectors, characterized by a high degree of dynamics. Thanks to this dynamism I acquired a thorough understanding about change and improvement, solidly balancing short-term priorities and sustainable enhancements.

My experience and expertise will establish trust, after which we can build a new sustainable way of working. In medium-sized organizations, the lines of communication are short. I enjoy team work at the strategic level as well as in operations. Additionally, I work alongside expert partners who complement my skills perfectly. I have worked as a care provider and project leader for Humanitas for several years. In this capacity, I collaborate closely with healthcare providers and municipalities.

I work by your side, focusing on the financial health of your organization and the business, providing weekly management information and of course accurate statutory reports.

Extensive experience in international business and multinational corporations, with a focus on governance, management, and business control in nearly all countries in Western Europe.

Improving and maintaining Finance and Control aspects or preparing for the international market. I have significant experience in international business with a focus on governance, management and business control in Western Europe.

Healthcare providers and Municipalities.

Enhancing the understanding of financial reports and analyses. Elevating them to a higher level throughout the organization. My motivation and experience have been strengthened through care providing and project management roles at Humanitas.
